TDC Award: Satteins in New York

The information design for the elementary school in Satteins, designed by Verena Petrasch and Angelika Mathis, has been selected by the judges of the TDC57 (Type Directors Club - USA) to receive the “Certificate of Typographic Excellence.”

Of the nearly 1500 entries, from 30 countries, only 208 were selected. These winners will be included in the Annual of the Type Directors Club, Typography 32, and will also be shown at the 57th Awards Exhibition in New York, which will be touring through cities in the United States, Canada, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Japan, Russia, and Spain.

The TDC Awards are generally viewed as being the most prestigious in the field.
A presentation of the winning projects is currently shown on PAGE online (in German).

15.07.2010 – I AM touring

The touring exhibition "Der See erzählt ...," designed by Angelika Mathis and Verena Petrasch, is currently making stops in Kreuzlingen (CH), Langenargen (D) and Freiburg (D). The combination of associative words with photographs of archeological finds raises questions in a way that is funny, provocative and, for this topic, unusual and thus arouses people's curiosity.
